Benjamin M. Murello, 44, Of Wappingers Falls

WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. – Benjamin M. Murello, a resident of Wappingers Falls, died Sunday, July 10. He was 44.

Born May 15,1972, in White Plains, he was the son of Benjamin and Jane Casillo Murello Jr., of Belgrade Lakes, Maine.

He was a master plumber and owned and operated Murello's Plumbing in Wappingers Falls. He was a member of the Southern Dutchess Sportsmen Association. He loved to cook and was considered a grill master. He was known for his large garden and even more known for sharing his harvest with family and friends.

He is survived by his parents Jane and Bejamin Murello Jr.; sister, Deborah Basher and husband John, of Wappingers Falls; uncle, Michael Casillo of Poughkeepsie; girlfriend, Damaris Sulsona and her children, Mary, Juliana and Natalia; and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls. A funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. during the visitation. Inurnment will be at a later date at Fishkill Rural Mausoleum, Route 9, Fishkill.
